DDVA 5K for Educator Scholarships
On October 15th DDVA will host its 3rd Annual DDVA 5K Run for Dyslexia and 1 Mile Fun Run.  This year’s proceeds will directly provide funding for educator scholarships to further their knowledge base around multisensory structured language instruction (MSLI).  The number of scholarships we hope to award will be based on runner participation and sponsorship commitment, so get your registrations in, consider forming teams, seek sponsorships, and tell your friends!
Scholarships will range from $100 – $1500 depending on the request.
Application deadline is September 30th, 2017.

If you are raising a child for a family member or friend, Fairfax Family Services would like you to give input for their new program.


Fairfax County Family Parenting Classes
Mondays Sept. 18 - Dec.185:30 - 8:00 pm 
Locations in Fairfax, Alexandria, and Reston
These caring, comprehensive classes for parents and their chidden help them learn ways to work together as a family.  Dinner and child care included.

Autism Research Symposium

The Symposium will feature autism research from biomedical and imaging, technology, education, and clinical transitional Fields.  Featuring guest speaker Alison Singer with The Autism Science Foundation. 

A certificate of attendance will be provided.

Creating the Future Conference: Building a Whole Life for Adults in the Down Syndrome Community

Pathways to Wellness Conference
